Totton College has been guaranteed 20 interview slots for job vacancies at the new Lidl distribution Centre in Southampton, for anyone who successfully completes its pre-employment training programme.
The Lidl Centre is due to open on 2nd October 2016 and there will be over 250 vacancies for Warehouse and recycling Operatives.
In order to provide supported opportunities for local people during the initial recruitment process, a series of Pre-employment Training opportunities are being developed by Lidl, Southampton City Council, The Department for Work and Pensions and local partners.
The interview take place throughout July and August and Totton College have been allocated 20 spaces for people who complete its pre-employment course.
